Our rapid prototyping approach for injection or compression molding of liquid silicone rubber utilizes patterns derived from high-resolution 3D printer technology. As a result, the fabrication of unique components can be accomplished at a fraction of the cost and the time compared to conventional machined tooling. Why Use Silicone?

The durometer, clarity, heat resistance, thermal conductivity, and biocompatibility of silicones are essential for many applications. We specialize in molding flowable platinum cure liquid silicone rubber, including many of the engineering and healthcare elastomers available from Nusil Technologies. We have worked extensively with medical grade Class IV silicones, optically clear silicones, aerospace silicones, and silicone gels, as well as the more common silicones used for prototyping and tooling.

The advantages of silicone rubber over other elastomers include:
