Robin D. Campbell, Ph.D., joined LaunchPoint BioMEMS, LLC as President and Chief Executive Officer in October 2008. Dr. Campbell received his Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from Wake Forest University and his Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His professional career spans more than 25 years and includes domestic and international experience in pharmaceutical and biotechnology sales, marketing, product development, and general management. Prior to joining LaunchPoint BioMEMS, Dr. Campbell served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Naryx Pharma, a specialty biopharmaceutical company. From 1989 to 2002, Dr. Campbell was Vice President and General Manager of the Oncology Business Unit, and an Amgen Officer at Amgen Inc. In this role, Dr. Campbell led an integrated team responsible for the marketing, sales, and medical development of products with over $1 billion in revenue.
