Nihat Okulan
Principle MEMS Scientist
Nihat Okulan received his Masters degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1995 from the Hochschule Bremen, Germany. After graduation he joined the MEMS group at the University of Cincinnati and obtained his Ph.D. in July 2000. His doctoral research involved analysis, modeling, design, fabrication and characterization of microflow sensors for microfluidic devices. He has actively participated in MEMS research and development for over ten years and has published numerous papers on MEMS devices and fabrication technologies. Dr. Okulan served on the LaunchPoint BioMEMS pressure sensor design team and holds several patents for MEMS devices and fabrication methods.
