Marketing Communications and Business Development
Cindy Paden, PhD, joined LaunchPoint Technologies in 2008 as the Marketing Communications Manager and a Business Development Associate. Dr. Paden manages corporate messaging, LaunchPoint’s website content, and participates in technical proposal preparation for government agencies. She also works in business development and interfaces with entrepreneurs seeking LaunchPoint’s support developing and commercializing their technology. Prior to joining LaunchPoint Technologies, she served as a research associate and postdoctoral fellow in Oceanography at Oregon State University. She received a PhD in Oceanography from UCSD’s Scripps Institution of Oceanography and a BS in Oceanography from Humboldt State University. Her research experience covers a range of mathematical modeling, data analysis, and oceanographic instrumentation making her well-suited to the electromechanical systems work central to LaunchPoint’s businesses.
