On October 29th, LaunchPoint Technologies president Brad Paden presented at YIPEE! at Santa Barbara City College
YIPEE! is a day-long program designed to help give kids the edge with entrepreneurship, invention and other creative life skills. Workshops, entertainment, exhibits, and fun learning opportunities all marked the day-long program. Brad talked to kids and parents alike about the exciting medical and maglev technologies that LaunchPoint is working on. He also brought along the Magnetic Moments Bouncing Ball and Magnetic Bearing Controller experiments, which of course ended up being the center of attention!
Other highlights included speeches by the mayor, Lois Capps, and other local business people.
